The HABAU GROUP is an international all-round supplier in the areas of structural and precast construction, civil engineering, pipeline construction, underground mining and steel/steel plant construction. Today, with around 5,000 employees and an annual construction volume of more than one billion euros, it is one of the top four in the Austrian construction industry. The focus of market cultivation is on Austria and Germany. HABAU GROUP was looking for an IoT solution that supports its overall process and can respond to changes individually at any stage. In the t-matix IoT platform, they found a future-proof technology that perfectly fits their requirements and allows individual solutions through the pure configuration. In the first step, t-matix was commissioned to create a complex logbook solution that enables the capture of operating and position data in combination with a telematics unit with a Garmin navigation device. The t-matix solution also allows pre-configured messages such as pending vehicle tests (§ 57a), electronic vignette issuing as well as individual messages sent directly to the Garmin device and thus to the driver. For the first time, this offers unlimited input options for information. The t-matix solution is currently used by more than 700 HABAU GROUP devices.
