ATM Recyclingsystems

With t-matix we have found a partner that not only delivers a flexible IoT-Platform
that is configurable to our needs, but who also supports our way of thinking and operating.
ATM Recyclingsystems develops, plans, manufactures and services metal recycling systems for the processing of secondary raw materials. The company is a leading enterprise of the ASCO Group and can draw on experience of more than 80 years. Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Anbauer, managing director of ATM Recyclingsystems, has been running the company for more than 4 years: „The basis for our integrated solutions is due to our innovative research, our engineering know-how and in-house production of recycling systems as well as our worldwide spare parts and service support. Our mission statement is to work together with our customers as long term partners and to contribute to our success by delivering the best technology and service solutions.“ ATM Recyclingsystems is aware of the importance of recycling and preserving our environment. The enterprise has therefore set itself the task of creating products with the best efficiency and optimal cycle time and thus also offering the lowest possible energy consumption. To ensure all of this, the company finds itself increasingly occupied with the Internet of Things.
„We originally tried to develop an IoT solution ourselves for our recycling systems. It however turned out to be far more complex than we thought. A lot of time was lost in the process,” explains Andreas Anbauer. „So we sought out a reliable partner for the implementation of our desired IoT solution. With t-matix we have found a partner that not only delivers a flexible IoT-Platform that is configurable to our needs, but who also supports our way of thinking and operating.”
The basis of a powerful IoT platform is valid data. The data is transmitted directly from the PLC interface of the machines in its facility to the platform using a specially configured hardware from t-matix. The interactive dashboard provides in detail the required information such as utilization reports, error reports, operating data, production status, material information, and much more. Based on the information obtained, ATM is now able to
align their facility more efficiently, increase the running times and optimize the use of resources and processes.
„With the extensive service from t-matix – from hardware selection, connectivity to creation of the IoT solution including a mobile app – we can focus on our core competency and make more strategic steps forward. ” says Andreas Anbauer.
