The Aquis Systems AG is a specialist for mechatronic devices with focus on electronic sanitary engineering with modern fittings and devices for various applications. The solution developed includes, among other things, special filter systems connected to the IoT platform, whose use can be measured in real time and monitored via app. In this way it is possible to check at any time whether the filters are in order and when they need to be changed. The so-called remote parameterization (also known as “over-the-air parameterization”) is a great advantage when a quick system adjustment or changeover is required. It is possible to adjust the devices or even entire systems remotely without having to be directly on site. With the help of OTA parameterization, for example, the water flow time of automatically activated fittings can be regulated or thermal disinfection can be programmed. Especially in stadiums, hotels and everywhere where not all water pipes are used regularly, remote monitoring and control is indispensable, as the risk of contamination – e.g. by legionella – is increased if the system is used infrequently.
