pewag engineering – specialists in the manufacturing of special purpose machines and automation technology for a wide range of industrial sectors – is now using the t-matix IoT platform in conjunction with the international pewag group. The new “Safety Trailer”, a mobile and hydraulic oil-free tensile testing station for chains and lifting magnets of up to 21 tons, has increased customer benefits and efficiency with the addition of mobile data tracking of operational conditions, test cycles and much more. Statistical evaluations of test results and the monitoring of geo-tracking data are visualized optimally and user-specifically on the IoT platform, thereby continuously improving processes and customer services. Further development steps will include the possibility of using the innovative IoT-Portal to link fixed special purpose machines, as well as external customers.
